Employees of the company "Innosystems" visited the laboratory of the company "Vanriki".
In the laboratory, sabers of blueberry, kiwi, tea and raspberries are picked using microcloning on a special nutrient medium.
Blueberry was cultivated on 70 hectares of land in the village of Layturi of the Ozurgeti district of "Vanriki". Because of the difficulty to bend using the cutter method, the company management decided to bring seedlings from Belarus.
Due to the increased demand for blueberries, they nursed on the spot to plant seedlings together with the Belarusian laboratory and built a laboratory. Mrs. Gulnara Verulidze, chief laboratory specialist, says that they are planning to breed nut walnut and spruce into the future.
Blueberries are quite profitable culture. It adapts easily to acidic soil and can receive an average of 10-15 tons per hectare.
Specialists of the Information and Advisory Service Khelvachauri believe that for the cultivation of blueberry crops in the region there is an appropriate resource at the expense of tea devalued plantations in the region.
