Grape Seed Powder
In the industrial processing of grape wine and juices, a large number of secondary products remain, which account for about 10-20% of the processed grapes.
These are secondary products - grape seeds and grape skins, which are sources of biologically active substances: vitamins, macro- and microelements, phenolic compounds, plant fibers, organic acids, essential amino acids and semi-fatty acids.
The first cold pressing of grape seeds results in the highest quality grape seed oil.
The secondary product remaining after squeezing the grape seed oil is used to make grape seed powder.
The grape seeds are gently dried at a temperature of not more than 60 ° C, then they are thoroughly cleaned and separated, which allows to achieve almost complete removal of impurities powder with a chira content of powder with a fat content of 8-9% and below. Grape cake (hard plates / granules obtained by pressing stones) is the raw material for the production of grape seed powder. The cake is subjected to a process of crushing on gear rolls, and the resulting grains are finely ground on a mill equipment, resulting in a finely divided grape seed powder
Currently, in Georgia, grape flour is made from the unique Rkatsiteli grape grown in Kakheti, an ecologically clean natural place in the heart of Georgian winemaking.
